Molly's Montage

This is the second in my series of duvet montage #1 that I reinvent choosing what to photograph to create abstracts with vivid color and a rich variety of textures. Charlie has finished about ten duvets that will give any bedroom vibrant color and sophisticated decor. They also can be used as tapestries for wall hangings. Although I sharpened and saturated these designs when appropriate, I have not disrupted the integrity of the design or integration of the handstiched craftsmanship of these beautiful duvets that will be more expansive when we add the fillers for the bedrooms. Charlie is studying the art of quilting so we can look forward to enjoying these wonderful abstracts in another art form. As you know Molly, my Irish Setter who you can meet in my dog portfolio to enjoy her puppy antics and relationship with her brother Mikey has chosen to move into her own bedroom having a canine interest in home decor:)) I hope you enjoy my stories about her relationship with Lillian, her Grandwitch her relationship with La Senora Belladonna, our gypsy houseguest who along with Lillian is featured in several of my photographs. Molly will be fourteen in human years and her request is psychologically appropriate to not be compelled to share a room with her beloved Mikey or in her words, Woof, Woof with her bright and animated smile. I have learned canine language to add to my study of other languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian . Our first language of the unconscious, primary process was necessary to master as a Psychologist when interpreting the manifest content of dreams and the importance of symbolic imagery in psychotherapy. My vocation has had a profound influence on my avocation as a photographer. As an early adolescent, this step in her psychological growth is very appropriate as she develops her own identity as continues her journey towards individuation as described in the theories of John Bowlby, Margaret Mahler and many other theorists who have studied the stages of human development.

Nice rich colors, that's what people like!

Artist Reply: I also love rich colors. I appreciate you comments and this will be an interesting series since I have a lot of "material" to choose from. I agree that people like rich colors, but what is important is that you like these montages of different colored vibrant colors and varied textures.
