This little beauty is 'Elidir',a small steam train that was built in 1889.For nearly 70 years she was used for shunting slate from Quarry to depot,then she was stripted-down and re-built,and is now in use as the main little engine for the 'Llanberis lake Railway'.She is now a 'pleasure trip' engine,but this little old gal is spending her last years as a tourist atraction,but still working hard.I had the pleasure a few years ago of riding the footplate.She is a beautiful little engine.
