These are two grey foxes. I was doing some work late in the day in a pine wood once and pushed through some palmettos and saw a fox that was about as close as these appear to be. She stared at me for quite a while like she wasn't sure what she was suppose to do, then turned and walked away. It was one of those things I've seen that left a strong impression, so I painted something similar. Enamels on Canvas 24 x 30.
