This is a painting I did as part of an online course I am taking through cgsociety.org. I have really enjoyed it. The first assignment was to do a monster focusing on eyes. I kind of drew inspiration from the mandelbrot fractal's infinitely recursive nature. This image is copyright of Danny Staten.
