Thom Roslan DEEP soulful passages & imagery.....I have always LOVED the BLUE'S.....and have lived them slightly in the 60's & 70's in Hollywood ........There was ALOT of "Brotherly" LOVE if you know what I mean Jerrie.....Excellent rendering & story telling ! I love the muted colors of this image too.....makes it smoldering !

Vasily Zolottsev Greetings, Jerrie! I was very much impressed with this artwork, my friend! I love pictures in which the sense leaves far for frameworks represented. When you look, and thought is already far in other place, about a life. Here a life as it is. Contrast between a youth and a maturity! Thoughts bluesmen about irrevocably left youth and caducity of life... I love a blues also! The blues is a life, its musical embodiment from depth of soul...
| Artist Reply: Thank you for seeing the meaning in the painting. This is a personal painting because I used my facial features, my profile, to play the blues man and the artist. He lives the life that he sings about. | ||
