Always love when artist take that "GIANT" step into the unique and sensual world of Mixed media/Collage w/ calligraphy added. It so expresses oneself into so many area's.
Artist Reply:   Hi Thom, thanks for your comment. Its taken me a while to find a way to use my authentic voice. All my painting work would have text behind them but mostly it gets lost in the process of painting.

This piece grabs the heart and soul with its use of various media. The many layers of this montage give dimension to the power of the written word. The visual impact of I see as a map parallels the written message and reinforces a sense of place and community. The aerial view gives this piece a unique perspective enhancing both the verbal and visual impact of your important message about the importance of community, neighborhood unity and the benefits for society and individual satisfaction. Your synthesis of various elements is a brillant synthesis of mixed media and message. I look forward to viewing more of your fascinating and very impressive work.
Artist Reply:   Thank you Julie, you have really looked at this piece. I apreciate your comment.
