I wrote a poem. From this the painting is arosen. I tried to do my best to translate it in engish. I think it is important to understand my motivations to paint this picture. It was a hard time in my live. Full of problems. But i have mastered this time. Here is the poem:................................... A glittering bright shadow. Lost in the world of the living. Arrested in the lonelyness of beeing. Doomed for eternal. Enchained in chains of fear. The freedom so close but so far away. Admired and shunned. Smiling in the chaos of agony. Desperate but full of hope. Tired but full of strength. Searching for protection.............................. And here is the original in german:................................. Ein gleißend heller Schatten, verloren in der Welt der Lebenden. Gefangen in der Einsamkeit des Seins. Verdammt in alle Ewigkeit. Gebunden in Ketten aus Angst. Die Freiheit so nah und doch unerreichbar fern Bewundert und gemieden. Lächelnd im Chaos das Leids. Verzweifelt voller Hoffnung, erschöpft und voller Kraft. Auf der Suche nach Geborgenheit.
