This is for the purple contest on the forums, I thought this closeup of the center of a purple and white iris gives a feeling of going into a misty cave.

sooo superb!!! very nice macro shot too by the way!!!! just fabulous!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Janette! I actually used my regular lens as my macro was broken by my son, so I had to replace it and it took some time as they cost so much! So I just used my regular lens, zoomed in as close as I could and cropped on the computer. I have an 8 megapixel for now so it worked out quite nicely. :)
