I found an app which would be useful to artists and i thought i would include it here: Lenardo da Vinci : It is a fantastic app that any student and art enthusiast should have on their mobile devices as it can serve a great deal of help in understanding human anatomy, perspective and technical drawings.............................................................. THE POLYMATH: REVIEW ON DRAWINGS: LEONARDO DA VINCI IOS APP ................................................................................................ The Renaissance man, who could ever beat the great polymath, Leonardo Da Vinci. He was a botanist, painter, sculptor, engineer, inventor and anatomist. He has pretty much accomplished more things than any other person in the world today. Of course, being an expert in a variety of aspects, he eventually became much known in the realm of art. His paintings, drawings and sketches prove his genius. From anatomical structures, studies of hands and bodies to the studies of futuristic contraptions of weapons and other items, Da Vinci showed mastery of form and structure. Drawings: da Vinci is a beautiful portfolio app that represents never seen and rare sketches from the, master himself. ................................................................ . What you will get from this app is several high resolution Images that are categorized to different themes as well as data of creation. This app is very useful for those students who wish to follow the footsteps of Da Vinci. This can serve as their source of inspiration. These anatomical studies as well as raw sketches of notable works will really give you a lot of insight about Da Vinci, his technical style and the diversity of his capacities. It can help students as well as general art lovers to be introduced to how all those fine arts started, from a single strong on a paper. no i didn't photocopy it, i used a techique called underpainting. The reason that none of my pieces fit in one scheme is that I was exploring with a variety of different techniques, each is drawn from just one of my sketchbooks. I have many more fine detailed pieces like this, and several based on Michaelangelo, etc... Believe me took ages to get it looking like this. my mother is a well known painter so i have always practised art. and yeah, Leonardo is definately one of my favs to!
