This is my first Prismacolor. Originally he had his mouth open and eyes more wide. Yet, I think this made him look more like the big cat he is. Tips are welcome, and the orgional reference photo was taken by National Geographic.

the leopard looks flat.Try giving it more form. You can also use various colors in the fur to give it a more real look. If you look closely at an animals fur you will see many different colors. When from afar these colors blend in together and create the actual color of the fur. it is a visual blending of the colors.
