Sam Hain

"He arises upon the Autumn equinox to bring chilly winds and the birth of decay to the once bright and blossoming land. His gift is that of cessation and slumber, for without his touch, life would proliferate and abound and choke upon it's very own vitality. Without the death of the old there cold be no new, and life would stagnate and be no more."

This image was initially pen & ink which was then digitally edited with color and background.

Cool concept, but his arms are too short, with no elbows or visible shoulders. His reach is so short, he's not too scary...

Nice. I like the pumpkin helmet. Looks like a deadite warlord, doesn't it? You're on a roll recently. Jim

Artist Reply: Well thank you. I'll take any "Evil Dead" reference as a compliment. But, um... for the record... it's not a helmet... it's his head.
