Briar Rose also known as Sleeping Beauty, fell into a deep sleep after pricking her finger on a spindel of a spinning wheel a curse only a prince can break with a kiss.

A very small 6x4 painting, i had left over arches paper from my previous artwork and i hate waisting paper (especially pricey paper ) so i managed to do this little painting of one of my favorite fairytales. Completed with watercolor,color pencils and acrylic for the dress lace.

i can't believe i have not commented on this one, where have a been. I love how you've done her hair, nice and long :D, beautiful tones to it. Such a peaceful spring artwork. You are really good at color, it's so bright and refreshing....love the dress/corset she's wearing and the lacework you did on it, really makes it lifelike, amazing work from you ;)!!!!!!!!!
