This wonderful daisy grows abundantly on roadside verges and in meadows in England in the summer months. It is also known as the marguerite, moon-daisy or dog-daisy. An extract from this plant was used in former times to cure diseases of the liver and chest. Juice from the stems was also used as drops for runny eyes.
