Black Chrome Unicorn Fantasy

Earlier in the year, I was talking to AW Misty Livingston, and she is a unicorn fan. I promised to get around to making one for her. She's always wanted a Black Metalic type Unicorn, so I gave it a shot. I had to figure out how to mimic metal, as I do not at the moment have metalic paints and brushes in my art programs that would work. Chrome filters didn't look right. Others looked more like glitter than metal. I will in the future be buying some programs that have that and other metals. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTY!!! Welcomn to your thrity's!

o wow this is absolutely beautifully enchanting work Terry!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Leah! It was a labor of love. I was determined to figure out a metalic look on my own. Next time, I'll have some decent brushes or programs and will do some more works. Maybe some goldne ones with gemstone eyes.

Wonderful Unicorn and an excellent gift. Love to you Terry, miguel

Artist Reply: THank you Miguel!!! If I could metal work I'd love to. Sadly, I can do some metal embaossing, slowly, and that's about it. I used to love to do some works with wood, but clumsy hands that don't want to work now. I can still use crayola magic air clay, that's light weight. It's to fragil though to do something big. I make ornaments that rock. Besides, some fantasy art is always a joy to look at and dream.

What a cool concept and lovely work...Great idea. I could just see this one moving and shimmering wth every ripple of muscle. Happy Birthday to Misty...May she live forever!!! You too Terrry! Thanks for all the time you took to look at my work. You are such a Cool person and I can sense that your heart is like the skies, endlessly full of dreams and stars. Happy Thanksgiving to all your family! Love CB

Artist Reply: Well, bless you Christina! I am a dreamer andtry to cherish all the joy of life. Some fantasy and art to playwith makes my little world feel that everything will be put to rights, if the day is bad. Art is a joy for me, a release, something to share. Perhaps one of our sculptors will create a metalic unicorn. I would love to see a real one, even if a photo. Misty has a long life still left to live. I am hanging in there and not going to be held back from enjoying the world, which I see a miraclous in design by a master artist. I love being able to challenge myself, and this is one I was able to finish. Happy Holidays to you Christine!
