Identification line

This is for an edtiorial that discusses research that might reveal an identifiable gene that predisposes people to violence. If you knew that a child had a predisposition to be violent and lawless could you lock them up before they even commit a crime? The objective of this illustration was to put the most innocent looking boy I could in context with criminals. I used saturated color and a light complexion to draw focus to the child. The rest of the picture is colored with darker dirtier colors. I was trying to put the viewer in the position of the childs mother or father that is viewing the lineup from behind the tinted glass. The child is reaching out to someone to remove him from the situation. If he seems out of place then I accomplished my goal for this editorial.
