The Church of the Martyrdoms is one of the principal historical monuments of Maceió city, Capital of the State of Alagoas, whose construction dates of 1880. To its front it is the Palace of the Martyrdoms, seat of government of the State. It is seen by its back, showing its red roof and the bases of its architecture. Faraway a green landscape, of coconut trees and other leafy trees, that represents well the tranquillity and the peace of the maceioense. It measures 75 cm of width by 55 of height.
