When I thought up the idea for Breathe, elements of certain characters had already wedged themselves in my mind. Water came to me almost fully formed from the off. I imagined a tall (very tall) shark like creature. Distant and secretive, emphasised by the neatly tailored suit and gloves, as well as his manner. Taciturn, with a formal and aloof air. By choice alone is he a he, as like Air and the other elementals, he is completely sexless.
