I lost a close uncle and then 4 of my very close and long time animal brothers & sisters all within a month. great shot!!! - there seems to be a heart in it :)) love particularly the contrast between the exciting plant and the calm blue background.

Artist Reply: Dearest Doris, Thank you so very much for your sweet thoughts. I'm very sorry it took so long for me to get back with you. The past month was a push on emotional limits and I wasn't able to respond to any comments let alone photograph the beauty that surrounds us. Things are seeming to calm now and my recent trip to Serpent Mound Effigy seems to have helped. I take a lot of pride in my photography and I deeply appreciate your comments and thoughts. You're right about the flower seeming as though it has a heart in it. That was one of the reasons I noticed the flower and captured this picture. Good eyes! :-) Thanks again!
