The Lakotas are one of the seven tribes thst make up the Great Sioux Nation. The premise for "Lakota Flute" was that he is looking into a fire, playing his flute. This means that the light source is coming up from the lowere right hand corner. Normally I bring the source in from the upper right because I am left-handed. I'll probably recover from the upside down, back side around thinking, but it will take awhile. The piece is drawn on 15X20", 140# acid-free paper. It has not yet been framed and matted, so pricing has not been set. There will be a Limited Edition of 300 pieces in the sepia color made of this work.
