Wabi Sabi 2

This is a very special work of mine; it is a 2 layer piece. The foreground layer is oil on canvas painted entirely by rocks found by a cemetery, while the background is textured using compound and spray paint. A intergraded frame ties the whole piece together and allows for a beautiful display. Second interpretation of a kind signed on front dated on back. 48 inch by 48 inch Visit eyesaura.com to view purchase info.

Your raw art has such powerful emotion pouring through every inch of the canvas. Bravo.

this is a really powerful piece...with a great deal of symbolism...makes me thing of the imprisoned soul that has become empty and bereft of meaning...not sure if that was your intent, but sure makes me think that way..=)

Artist Reply: You are right, what the photograph does not capture is the pattern of the texture, see I have created a world behind what you see at first glance. Thank you for the beautiful interpretation.

Wow! it is difficult to know what to say...this is very deep dark and full of emtion. I think it is beyond words...only left to the feelings. Excellent use of your media.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Christine, its a honor.
