This is from my gcse 'Interesting Faces' art folder. I got bored of drawing peoples' faces so I decided to draw what people really look like on the inside. I used chalk pastels so I could get a good grungy effect on the skull to show signs of decay and rotting, and a black background to really make it stand out. Then I added fiery eyes to make it look more dramatic and to try to draw people in because normally people look into peoples' eyes when your talking to them etc. and when you like into a skulls' silent eyes you see emptyness, nothingness I think it looks quite eerie and it's strange to think we actually look like that underneath...
