A forgotten garden

Along the side of a road, growing wild and unattended, a forgotten garden still grows on. While it is now not lovely tended, it has a beauty in it's wild carefree growth. Discovered for me by my husband Jeff, who is always scouting subjects for me to paint. This is one of several I will post from this still beautiful patch of flowers.

I love the wild look...BEAUTIFUL...

Artist Reply: Thank you! There is such strengh and determination to grow, unattended. It is beautiful, and I love that my husband found it, stopped and trampled through weeds to get this shot. He really knows what I would be stopping to click photos of. I have been taking my camera with me now, just in case. I drive him nuts trying to stop and get photos. Bless him!

Terry, are those nasturiums. Lovely edible. Of course my eyes are old. Lovely and bucolic scene. Such grace in your photographs. Miguel

Artist Reply: Thanks Miguel! I was wondering if that's what they were. I've seen different varieties of them. These are pretty ones. They would look lovely on a cake. I've had some pedals in a salad before that was wonderful. I almost hated to eat it.

Great shot, Terry, love the atmosphere!

Artist Reply: Thanks Anne! I do as well. I have missed scenes like these. In a few years, I hope to be where I will have my own enchanted gardens.
