The time, varies. If I am really into a particular creation, it takes me, sometimes up to 8 hours, because I erase many times! If not, then, 4-6 hours. I am slow. Black background is achieved by tracing the outer edges of drawing with medium to hard graphite pencil, then enhancing with my scanner's program "enhance feature" called Photoimpression 5. It's the easiest for me. Thanks again, and have a beautiful creative day!
