Lion's Stare

This lion was staring right at me through the fence at the Topeka Zoo. Using a wide-open f/2.8, I was able to effectively get rid of the fence in front of the lion and at the same time get a sort of 3D look to it.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Chris! I didn't have to wait long at all actually. I was carrying my son around in a wagon and the wagon really seemed to catch the interest of the lions. They just kept staring at us so I took the photo! :)
