I don't know what 'Red Earth Girl' is about other than it is a picture of one girl not two. The image was something that popped into my head and stayed there so I thought I'd try and draw it. The earthy colouring is because originally I intended it to be a sepia tone image but then I got to a point and decided it needed some purple and green in it. Then I consulted my partner and she thought the girl's dress should be red. Chalk Pastel on Paper, 50 x 40cm, unframed.
