The skunk is quite prevelent in Canadian gardens.... Especially on the farms where it odour just about chokes you. How a little animal can create such a big stink is a wonder. They can however be tamed and the stinksack removed when they are babies. They make wonderful pets although most people run away from you when you carry one on your arm LOL Mine has stopped to smell the roses!

I love this one! I had a pet skunk when I was a teen. (Descented). I do miss Josie. She thought she could still spray, but only managed a second of the scent when she tried. Smart, loving, onery and stubborn, I loved that skunk. She got retired to a friend's farm who had a lonely male that lived under his porch. He was gifted with a whle family a season or two after. We had to hide fresh brad from ours, she'd lose her mind trying to get to it. Well done!
