Swan preening

Never before would I have thought to paint on cd's, yet what a wonderful way to eliminate waste. By painting with gesso as a base it holds acrylic paints quite well. With a finishing touch of Varnish either matte or shiny depending on the results one wants to achieve. But then I looked at them and found the hole in the middle not easy to deal with. I now fill that hole with plastic wood, sand it down and voila you have the neatest little canvas you could ask for. Especially for those people who like miniature paintings it is a godsend. Finish the painting with a nice matting and small frame. These would make wonderful gifts for friends and family
