Anonymous Guest Standing in a boat was a common practice amongst European fishermen. This is still carried on today, it's the old way of doing things. They did carry lifejackets under the bow, and used them only in rough weather, besides I never heard of a fisherman who could not swim. Now what about the Gondaliers and their lifejackets?..,.......Emilio | |
