Two people in the Train

This picture I made in a moving train from Germany to the Netherlands. This shows two passengers sitting in the same train as me. I drew them, without them seeing me, or paying attention to me. After I got it finished, I showed them the picture and talked with them in my primitive German. They were okay with the fact that I drew them.

doe sthe guy on the left have his eyes closed?

Artist Reply: To be specific, the guy is reading some paper that he is looking down on. It looks like he has closed eyes, but from where I was drawing, it looked like closed eyes.

Great portraits, in drawing, line, contrast and picture!

Artist Reply: Thank you, actually I used fineliners just because I foregot my pencils hehe. I couldnĀ“t erase any line, so I had to be careful, maybe this is why it looks more expressive.

A fabulous portrait!

Artist Reply: Thanx Emily, I frankly still do not know why this portrait worked out as well as it did. I was drawing on a moving train, foregot my pencils, and had to draw from the reflection of them so that they would not notice me drawing them.
