Triptych. NANOART - Limited edition prints. High resolution monochromatic electron microscope scans of natural micro or nano-structures and nano-sculptures created by the artist by physical or/and chemical processing are digitally painted and printed with archival inks on canvas or fine art paper. This way, the scientific images become artworks and could be showcased for a large audience to educate the public with creative images that are appealing and acceptable. Since there is no light involved in the image creation, NanoArt is different than Photography where the images are generated by particles of light (photons). The Scanning Electron Microscope images are generated by electrons (electrically charged particles) which penetrate deeper in the structure creating images with more depth, more natural 3D look than the photographic images.
