MINIMALISM: so many graves to dig, so little time

(C)2003 Elton Houck...Minimalism is the bare bones of expressionism...but sometimes it can also have a little flesh on the skeleton, other wise the canvas would be blank, or if you carried the minimal standard back to its logical conclusion, then not only would there be bare bones but actually no bones at all, no paint, no canvas, nothing to exhibit--nothing to announce to the world that the artist was here. And the final outcome would mean there was no artist here,,,and in fact, there is no HERE...THERE IS NOTHING...ONE CAN SEE THIS IS NIHILISM TO THE EXTREME...And if this is the case, I am wasting time in writing this explanation, because there would be no one out there to read it. And in fact, there would be no OUT THERE at all, and I would not exist to ponder this circular logic that ends at the begining and starts over and over and over...
