Lita Valenzuela, science officer aboard the Amrha III, the 3rd ship to be sent by Takisi Garden into the galactic core to attempt to locate the anaji. Born and raised with her brother Joseph on Neo Zargoza, Lita is willful, ambitious, and strong-minded, confidently trying to take charge of any situation, something which as both earned her promotions and resentment of her superior officers. On the Amrha III she went through a lot, including a loss of her faith after Cardinal Jonas Lefler's assassination of Zeanita Amrha and proclamation of the tanu as angels and a close call with tanu infection. She survived it all along with Vaira Charafi (Dema's neice) and Tycro Naich, rejoining the TLM in retaking Earth from the mindless tanu hordes. After the Earth War she became good friends with the Noor family and fellow TL Marine Melissa Consair.
