Jazz 3

This is a new series of work I created while listening to two of my favorite jazz albums by Miles Davis and Charles Mingus. The first one is most similar to my typical style. As I went along though, I found myself becoming less of an observer/listener to the music and more of a participant - creating improvisationally in tune with the energy of the jazz. 2006, 4.5" x 9", All rights reserved TORRANT.

Very nice and beautiful work...but it does not have the simple spontanaiety as your other more primitive jazz pieces do... This piece is a very delicate and well composed piece, that does not need the" jazz tag-on" to give it meaning...It has a life onto its's self!!!

This is great. The dark lining is very effective. Colour combination works well. beautiful!
