(c)2003 Elton Houck acrylic paint, acrylic gel medium on Strathmore 12" X 9" acid free paper. This series was done as an aside, a humorous protest about the state of art for sale on ebay. I thought I would be assaulted with a barrage of insulting emails, but instead there insued a hot bidding war for these works. This series was followed by two additional ones.."ELTON'S DIRTY ART" (in this one, dirt was incorporated into the painting); and the third series was "Elton's dirty art with feathers"..yes, that is right--paint, dirt, and feathers...The novelty of these projects ran their course and I left the world of trash, dirt, and feathers. But some would beg to differ with this statement, after viewing my work...LOL...
