Artist Reply: Homayra thanks for viewing my art. I shall try to answer your quesions as to the meaning of the piece. In Christian theology, Lucifer is the enemy of mankind and the enemy of God. He at one time was a mighty angel that came into the very presence of his Creator, but then he rebelled, stuffed up with pride and he took a third of the angels away with him in his folly. He caused our first parents Adam and Eve to transgress against God and sin and death were ushed into the world. Lucifer can appear as a angel of light..beautiful and desirable and then he will lead you astray and away from man's purpose to love God...The bird in the picture is like an evil menion looking on with glee as Satan ponders an evil scheme. The moral of the piece is of course that sin can seem pleassurable for a season but the end of sin is Death. The Bible says there is only one way to fellowship with God and that is to be reborn into the family of God by accepting Jesus as Lord and as theone who paid the penalty for all sins ever comitted. The bible says Jesus is the way, the truth and the light..and without Him as your Lord, you cannot see God but are in league with Satan...
