'Love Heart'

Acrylic on canvad 80 x 60cm. This was done for my daughters bedroom, something soft and very girly.I painted the textured heart in silver.

composition bothers me and the meaning is troubling. It does not seem to say anything or be anything. Would make good decoration for cloth but I am unsure of its purpose here. does not seem abstract to me either, seems literal..a heart in squeezable metalic acrylic on a pink background.

Artist Reply: The reason I painted this was because my daughter of 12 years old wanted this. I actually used texture and painted the texture afterwards with a fine brush!!!! I have sold many heart paintings they are very popular!
