Oakland California ca. 1915

This 29"x41" Watercolor is of the intersestions of Broadway, San Pablo and 14th Sts. It is the at the Civic Center of the city. City Hall is to the left of the painting just out of site. Broadway runs to the right of the painting past the Federal Building to the Berkley Hills. It was a time before traffic signals and chaos reigned supreme in the streets of America. This is the most popular painting that I have ever done of the San Francisco Bay Area as most long term residents come from the East Bay Area.
