Saal'Ku - the first real nemesis in my story and, while surely not the most powerful, most assuredly one of the most driven on a personal level, and therefore extremely dangerous regardless. She betrayed nearly everyone who ever helped her, she has stolen, lied, and cheated her way through life, murdered Dalia's elder sister Niana, Ejori and Sachia Noor, Ao and Rama Dei'Rein, among many others, and she doesn't stop when my story starts. Completely selfish, completely arrogant, and completely driven to avenge herself upon anyone who wrongs her, she turns Kathra's life into a non-stop struggle just when she least needs it on multiple occasions, and is responsible for the deaths of several people very near her.
