Ah yes! Chekhov. An excellent portrait. A very learned and dignified appearance. I've only seen 'Three sisters' and 'The Seagull' Love how you've caught the intensity in the eyes. I particularly like the colours and those brisk, broken brush strokes in the background. Brilliant!

I like your personal touch. You can still experience the guy as he is, yet nobody else could do a portrait of him like this.
