(c) 2000 Elton Houck (c) 1985 Elton Houck The series portrays a mystical kingdom of harse landscape and frozen tundra, and perputual night, where their is a clash of forces to conquere and subdue their enemies. Each work is 22" X 28" Bristol vellum painted with spray can enamel paint, with polyurethane, and on some works in the series where pastels and crepas, and china markers, are applied, then there also may be holding agents such as fixative, acrylic gel medium, and/or polyurethane. This particular work had been painted as described above and then color reversal and painted outlines applied via "paintbrush" computer aid.

I like the soft colors, its so warm and so soft. I really like the shapes and usually we see shapes of profection, but you chose nice shapes a little wiggily as if they are life-like with personalities.. that is a new and original idea!Renata Cavanaugh 08 Dec 2005
