Acrylics....I'd painted over an old canvas, and put little or no thought into this...just liked the circles...days later my daughter pointed out the faces, which I was delighted to see. It seems the less I try, the more pleased I am with some of my work.

if dark colors are coming up let it be...never supress anything that comes form the heart. I love it :)

Artist Reply: Thank you Thea! Is it common for new artist to paint with dark colors? I've heard from many friends that I need to brighten them up. Does this mean I add white to everything? I don't know. Actually these were painting during dark times, so maybe they're as they should be. Thanks again!
