The Descendant

As a big fan of the author Iain M Banks, when I read this story in "The State Of The Art" I was moved and inspired to put something down. Thanks Iain.

Hey Stu! How's tricks? Stopped by to see what you've been up to - not bad - not bad at all - I really like the wear on the train - nice touch :0)

Artist Reply: Hey Chas, tricks are ace at the moment, been really really busy, i'll be uploading a few new pieces soon. It's nice that you just happened by, makes me feel loved . The burned out train of solar here are what saved the suit and its occupant from re-entry into the atmosphere according to the book, they trail behind him like broken insect wings (I forget the exact quote, but it sticks in my mind) - "The State Of The Art", Iain M Banks. Such slick science fiction, I recommend!

Oh man, this guy is smokin'. No really, he's smoking! Nice detail work, Su.

Artist Reply: Cheers Dan. Wish I could show a third close-up thumbnail with all the detail in it. Not a fan of the 600 pixel restriction. I'll put it up on my website proper (when/if I get the time)
