Luberon

A painting that I started in the village of Cabrieres d'Avignon, in France, then finished when I returned home. I suppose it portrays my love for the area and the vibrancy of the light...and a certain magical quality as Mont Ventoux looks down over the proceedings. This is acrylics and pencil crayons, followed by melted oil pastels, then sgraffito work. In other words, everything but the kitchen sink! A3 size on smooth Canford 2mm mounting board.

i am befuddled by this work... so it must be good. so many methods and materials that it boggles me as I attempt to decypher it. So I wont, I will just look at it and enjoy the view.
