Destiny

When two world collides, the old and the new one can only reflect. It is the mixture and unison of two cultures and one spirit.when the African came to Haiti they learn to embrace the Taino cultures and carry on a tradition. Haiti is a little island that is seperated from mother Africa. It embraces with the Tainos to create Ayiti Kisleya Boyo (High mountains). As the Tainos dissipated , it is the Black Africans that remain to cultivate and embrace this soil and find its cultural heritage. I cannot forget my past and forget history. it si what we are today a mosaic of the races. But it is the unions of those people that make us who we are today. It is through our cultural and ancestral heritage that we reamin connected to our mother land. We must love our world to understand its meaning. The sea brings our world together as one.

This is a very beautiful and profound piece. It reminds me of the snake god and his wife dancing through the sea to create life and promote love.

This is my favorite; to me it represents a dance towards our future in all my favorite colors. Everything is written, we can only live with what we have, the present. We are assigned different tasks in life. It is through these tasks that we discover ourselves. We go through happiness, deceptions, lost, glory but only destiny knows when it will end for us. Only she knows when we will get off the train of life.
