I mentioned in an earlier shot of a heron that I felt as if a couple of these great birds were getting more trusting of me and my dog.After two years of shooting in an area that I frequent,this guy is now regularly letting me get up close.I'm not absolutely sure if it is the same one,but my gut feeling is that it is.I can now get within about fifteen feet of it.I just tell him(her)how beautiful he is in a really mello voice and sort of inch up very slow.It sounds like I've wigged out,I know,but this guy looks right at me when I talk to it really quietly.Whatever works right?
