Exasperation

The is the second in a series of paintings that I am producing and will be selling in giclees and print on attitudes. I am finding it an emotional experience and hope you enjoy. This painting is on an 18"x36" canvas and took just under 20 hours to complete. I would love to hear what you take from this painting so I can see if you understand the message I am trying to send out... have fun with it~ *****This painting represents the moment/s before separation, divorce and hopelessness. I do not mean to state that men are always as I have depicted them or women are as I have depicted them as both sexes play both roles in society..... The man is set in stone.. he will not make any attempts to change or improve the relationship... it is over in his mind and only a negative part of his life. The lines between the male and female represent the noise of yelling and the tears that they have shed, whether in real tears or in the pain that fights to get out within our private thoughts. She is dead to the world, she has nothing left to give and cannot feel anything any longer... she is so dead to the world that she is unable to see the ribbon that floats in front of her eyes. Neither takes blame for the place that they have arrived at.. this is one of the dark attitudes that humans succomb to and it hurts the voiceless children which is why the child is muted and ghost-like. This child is 2 different children... the child that has no voice and/or the child that will never be born because this couple stays together rather than meeting the people they are meant to be with... so the child is never born... It is a sad place to be that I know as I have been there more than once. I hope that you may be spared this... This painting did not photograph well, we are about to release it color corrected and will be available for purchase in limited edition Giclees and prints very soon at www.clarerowley.com To purchase Original Painting contact the artist directly $5,000

Looks like sadness and hopelessness to me... at least that is what I feel when I look at it... and its as though these colorful souls are showing their epic disappointment in watching the dredges of mankind- as though bright, colorful spirits are frozen in sadness, watching the most disappointing humans and their pathetic behaviors/actions over the face of Earth..
