Sophia Loren, the Italian Living Legend. 19" x 13" oval. Hand sketch then inlaid with semiprecious gemstones and several colors of Devonian age marble. White marble will be different colors depending on the contact zone of metalics they touch. Iron to marble will be red, carbon to white marble will be black, zinc to white marble will be blue. Pure white marble is considered calcite.
