28" x 19" oval. Not all legends are people, many ships also fit into the category of being legendary. The Demeter was said to have carried Dracula to London, when it came into port, none of the crew were found. This work was first hand sketched then inlaid with Devonian age marble over 440 million years old, the ocean is inlaid Malachite gemstones, and the trim is of Chalcopyrite (40% gold, silver and copper).

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie. You would really love to see these mosaic works in person. Since the stones are all different sizes, not like glass or square tiles, they cast shadows as the light shines through the room during the day. They are in a constant state of change.
