Madonna and Child. I created this terracotta bas-relief inspired by an ancient painting that depicts the "Madonna di Pugliano", venerated in Italy in southern Calabria (Bianco - RC). I made a few copies which, after drying, were baked in an oven at a high temperature of approx. 1000°. Once cooked I used acrylic paints and a protective final varnish. Each colored bas relief will be slightly different but similar to the photos shown. On the back you can see my signature. I created a setting of how this work might be seen hanging on a bedroom wall.
