This is the cover art for my children's book Lilac Lou and the Blue Jean Rat.It is a colorful tale set on a rainy day about two classmates, on a crowded city bus who, literally, run into each other. Lilac Lou's beloved purple lunchbox is dented in the collision and her anger ensues into "stormy magic". They are inexplicably transformed into avatar versions of themselves. The art was done in Photoshop with a wacom tablet.
